“Lebenslinien” looks at life not as a straight road, but as a web of new beginnings, encounters, closeness, loss, solitude and hope. Each track reflects a state of its own; together they form an arc in which experiences meet and reshape one another.
The album begins with the openness of a new day and moves through travel, life itself and human connection towards the quieter questions of transience and memory. After the innermost moment of solitude, hope remains at the end: not as a loud promise, but as the possibility of moving forward.

Morgentau opens the album like the first look at a new day. For a brief moment, everything seems untouched: quiet, open and full of possibilities. The piece stands for beginnings that arrive without a grand gesture – almost unnoticed, with a thought, a breath, a new light.

Tourist
Tourist tells of being on the road: unfamiliar places, new impressions and the desire to widen one’s horizon. Travel means more here than moving from one place to another. Leaving familiar surroundings also means meeting yourself anew.

Leben
Leben forms a centre of the album because it describes not just a single mood, but the movement of existence itself. Highs and lows, vulnerability and strength, closeness and loss stand side by side without having to cancel each other out.
